The Federal Government on Friday said it had commenced a review of the pricing template for Premium Motor Spirit , popularly known as petrol . It noted , however , that the price of the product would remain unchanged . According to the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr . Ibe Kachikwu , the review became necessary following the various pricing concerns surrounding the actual cost of a litre of PMS . This is coming as President Muhammadu Buhari , as well as the Federal Executive Council , had directed the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation not to allow the price of petrol to go beyond N 145/ litre . OAU is set to begin lectures on Friday 5th of January 2018. This was revealed in a release by the registrar of the University in a statement dated 2nd January. Three persons were feared dead in a bomb attack on the Magadali Local Governmet Area of Adamawa State on Monday. A source told the News Agency of Nigeria that the bomb was planted on a roadside in the town. It added that about three persons lost their lives in the attack . The Adamawa State Police Command ’ s spokesman, Mr . Othman Abubakar , confirmed the development but said only one person was killed. He said the command was still gathering information for full details. Also when contacted , the Executive Secretary,  Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency , Mr . Haruna Furo , confirmed the attack . “ I received a call from the Chairman , Madagali Local Government Area, about the attack but due to poor network , the conversation cut off". “ I tried several times to reach him but failed , ” Furo said.
