OAU: Left-Wing Ideological Groups in war of words over Appeal Letter

The Left Organizations on OAU Campus has been in war of words in the past few days over an Appeal Letter submitted to OAU Management on the Suspension of one Omole Ibuku n known as Hon IBK . Omole Ibukun who was suspended over criminal activities pending police investigation submitted an appeal letter last two weeks and pasted the letter all round Campus. The Pace Setters Movement views the letter as Treachery and a betrayal of the Spirit of Struggle, stating that the letters contains elements of plea which is an admittance of the Criminal acts as posited by the management and dismissed the letter as totally unnecessary and not needed so as not to sell out the student populace. Ajose Gideon and Ajani Kayode The already bad welfare on OAU campus due to the industrial action of the JAC has gone from bad to worse and from worse to *Worst* as the only *"functional"* water system in the Moremi Female Hall of Residence has been damaged owing to natural factors. According to occupants of the Hall, the Iron Tank that serves as a reservoir located outside the hostel has been damaged, this was evident by the apparent opening on the tank by the side thereby making it prone to contamination. Reacting to this a girl by the name Funmilayo said this would only decrease the level of assurance someone can have using the water, "This is the only place we run to when we need water as it is mostly filled with water, but now that it has broken at the top and the level of assurance we having using the water has decreased" Another lady residing in Moremi Hall said the water is no longer safe and implored the works department to do the needful, "with t...

It was gathered by Eagle Post Correspondents that the Waste Collection Pointvalong Moremi Hostel and Chemistry Department has remained uncleared for weeks, the Waste Collection Point by the side of Amphi Theatre has also not been cleared. Students reacted to this recent development by imploring the management to stand up to their duties and instruct the appropriate quarters to clear the dirts.
